From June 1 to August 3, as you read new books, watch new movies or performances, listen to new music or podcasts, and do new things, track it in your Teen Summer Reading log book. Once you've tracked ten activities, turn it in to the library to get a free book (to keep!) and entry into an end of summer prize package. Pick up your log book today at any City Library Branch.

Sure, you've read plenty of books, but have you ever REALLY looked at a book? Beneath the words and pictures, books are beautifully-crafted works of art. Get a primer in book-making with the accordion book form, and take home a journal to fill with your own words and pictures.

Dig fashion? Or just want to make a statement? Turn your old pieces of clothing into a work of art at The City Library's Bleach Party just for teens! Create your own unique wearable masterpiece using a bleach pen. Bring a dark or bold-colored piece of clothing (*Pastel and lighter colors will not work*) and your imagination---The City Library will provide the rest.
