Bring your own needles (any size) and learn basic knitting skills, including general terminology, how to cast on and bind off, and how to follow a pattern and its symbols. Lillian Cahoy, library volunteer and an avid and expert knitter herself, will be on hand to teach and assist attendees. Yarn will be available, but bring your own if you have a specific color you're working with. If you're already in the middle of a project and you need help, pointers, or tips, bring it with you! Be part of the knitting mania that has gripped the nation. All ages welcome.
