"I'll rain down on you with the power of magic itself. Then we'll see who prevails."

ABOUT MAGIC: THE GATHERING®
Magic is a strategic tabletop card game in which you craft your own unique deck of cards. For many fans of the game, designing a powerful card deck is both an art and a science, and the strategy you select will determine how competitive you are as a player. Magic players select cards that suit their individual playing styles and strategies. Building a deck often focuses on taking advantage of the powers inherent in each of Magic's five mana colors. New Magic expansions are released a few times a year, and each expansion set brings new ways to stupefy and defeat your opponents. Because of the variables involved, each Magic game plays out differently.
Most people play Magic casually, playing against their friends for fun. For other players, Magic is a more serious endeavor: a highly competitive game of skill with hundreds of thousands of dollars up for grabs in professional tournaments. To others still, Magic is all about collecting and trading cards that feature breathtaking original fantasy art from some of today's premier fantasy artists.
