What are your thoughts, experiences or observations about race? Based on Michele Norris’ The Race Card Project, writers will distill their thoughts into one six-word sentence about race and then turn that sentence into a longer piece. Join the CWC and learn to expand six words into six-hundred or more words of poetry, nonfiction, fiction or other genres. Writers can submit their work to the community anthology to be published in February.

Cost: Free, but registration is required. To register, call 801-957-2192 or visit slcc.edu/cwc.
