Come dressed in your finest cowboy garb: sharpen your spurs, don your duster, brush off that ol’ cowboy hat, and saunter on over to Chapman Branch for some fun cowboy storytelling and craft making. Sign-up is required for the cowboy crafts. Call 801-594-8623
6:30–8pm • Cowboy Poetry and Music
Join us for a September salute to all things Cowboy and Wild West. Enjoy Utah cowboy poets, including Stan Tixier, reciting their favorite rhymes, highlighted by the music of Coyotee Moon. This is a family event for all ages.
ABOUT STAN TIXIER
Stan has been writing and reciting cowboy poetry since 1991. His books, A Good Lookin’ Horse: Cowboy Poetry and Other Verse and A Better Lookin’ Horse have been widely distributed and are popular with fans everywhere. Stan has recited to audiences throughout he West.
ABOUT COYOTEE MOON
Coyotee Moon is a dynamic western music trio. Their passion for preserving the western way of life is reflected in the songs they play and sing. They write their own songs and sing about the “cowboy” way of life: rounding up cattle, branding calves, and playing music around the campfire.
