These photographs are my continuing quest to document, learn, and understand insects. Insects have fascinated me all my life. For the past 15 years I have photographed flowers, insects, cactus, exotic plants and flowers and landscapes. I started at the very beginning of the digital camera revolution. Since then I have taken thousands of photographs. I have visited arboretums, botanical gardens, private reserves, conservation areas to see, photograph, and learn about the insects as they quietly go about their lives. Despite what seems to be a universal fear of bugs, without insects, seen and unseen, our world would be a far worse place. I hope these photographs bring a new found respect for these amazing creatures.
