In anticipation of their upcoming production of “Clybourne Park,” Pioneer Theatre Company is hosting a reading of the Tony Award-winning play “A Raisin in the Sun,” by Lorraine Hansberry. “A Raisin in the Sun” is based on a family’s experience as an African American family moving into a white suburb in Chicago. “Clybourne Park,” which will be produced at PTC in February, presents a different side of the story and then picks up where “A Raisin in the Sun” leaves off, depicting the same house, as a white family moves into what is now a gentrifying neighborhood.”
