Warm up by imagining yourself in the beautiful rainforests of the Amazon. In celebration of Utah Opera’s upcoming performance of Florencia en el Amazonas, The City Library is screening two amazing films. Fitzcarraldo, based on a true story, chronicles the adventures of a man obsessed with building an opera house in the Amazon rainforest. The second feature, Burden of Dreams, documents the adventures of the director obsessed with making a movie about a man obsessed with building an opera house in the Amazon rainforest. Two cinema classics to warm you up on a cold December afternoon!
