Introducing our line-up of after-school entertainment! Every weekday the Children's Library offers a special activity, from classic storytimes to games and movies. Drop in for some fantastic fun!
Monday Night Storytime
Kids and their grownups are invited to a special storytime every Monday at 7:00 p.m. Stories are told in English and Spanish on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of each month.
Tuesday Afternoon Activities
Don't miss indoor and outdoor fun every Tuesday from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday After-School Crafts
Join us for a fun kids' craft every Wednesday from 4:00-5:30 p.m.
Thursday Gaming
Visit us every Thursday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. for board games and Wii gaming.
Friday Afternoon Movies
Join us on Fridays from 2:00-4:00 p.m. for favorite kids' films.
READ DOWN YOUR FINES!
Did you know that if you're under 18, you can "read down" your fines? Sign up at any service desk and a staff member will time your reading. For every 10 minutes you read, we'll remove $1.00 of overdue fines. And if you read to someone younger, both of you will get credit!
All Locations LEGO-Mania!
Do you have LEGO-Mania? Build a LEGO model or make your own LEGO creation and we'll display it at one of our locations! Drop off your design at any City Library (except the Chapman Branch) between February 8 and February 14. Ribbons will be awarded in a variety of categories. Models will be on display in our libraries from February 16 through March 27. One entry per child, please.

All Locations Beehive Book Awards: Children's Reading Program
Looking for something fun to keep your little bees busy during the winter months? Join the Beehive Awards Reading Program! Pick up a reading list and ballot at your neighborhood library. Kids ages 3-12 can read any or all of the 40 nominated selections. After reading a nominated book, return your completed ballot to the library and receive a treat.

What do balloons, bicycle wheels, and liquid nitrogen have in common? Find out with astronomers and scientists from the University of Utah. These fun and energetic demonstrations reveal science at work for both kids and adults! Two free workshops take place on the second Monday of each month.
