Earth Day, taking place Wednesday, April 22, is an annual event which recognizes environmental issues and promotes the protection of Earth and its natural resources. Help support a healthy environment. Through the month of April, exchange your plastic bags for a reusable City Library tote at the Main Library Browsing Desk. Using reusable bags reduces waste and fossil fuel consumption.

Every April, National Poetry Month recognizes poetry’s expressiveness, joy, power, and its influence on our culture and lives. Inspire words and express yourself with resources from The City Library.
